What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device — your computer, phone, or tablet — when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and give website owners basic information about how their site is being used.
Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access other files on your device. They are simply small records that help websites recognise returning visitors and remember settings.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. This page explains what we use and how to manage those settings.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active
These cookies are required for the website to function. They manage your cookie consent preference (stored in your browser's local storage) and basic session security. The site cannot operate correctly without them.
- cookieConsent — stores your cookie preferences (localStorage, persistent)
Analytics Cookies
Optional
These help us understand how visitors find and use our website — which pages are visited most, how long people stay, and how they move between sections. We use this information to improve the site. These cookies collect anonymous, aggregated data only.
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics, session and persistent, up to 2 years
- _gid — Google Analytics, session identifier, 24 hours
Marketing Cookies
Optional
Marketing cookies allow us to understand whether paid advertising campaigns resulted in visits to our site. This helps us spend our advertising budget sensibly. We do not use these cookies for ad personalisation targeting on third-party platforms without your consent.
- _fbp — Facebook Pixel, conversion tracking, 90 days
- _uetsid — Microsoft (Bing) UET, conversion tracking, session / 1 day
Preference Cookies
Optional
These cookies remember choices you have made on the website, such as your language or region. They make return visits more convenient. Disabling them means you may need to re-enter those choices on each visit.
- lang_pref — language/region preference, persistent, 1 year
Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles above to set your preferences, or use the buttons below. Your choice is saved in your browser immediately.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services we use. These include:
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Facebook / Meta — advertising conversion tracking when marketing cookies are enabled. Governed by Meta's Data Policy.
- Microsoft Advertising (Bing) — advertising conversion tracking. Governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
We do not control how third-party services use the data they collect through their cookies. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for more information.
Cookie Duration
Session cookies exist only for the duration of your browser session. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until deleted manually. Our analytics cookies may persist for up to two years; marketing cookies typically persist for 90 days; preference cookies for up to one year. Your consent record (the cookieConsent key) is stored in localStorage rather than as a cookie, and persists until you clear your browser data.
